Introducing HYGAIN

We are excited to add Hygain Grains to our growing selection of horse grains at the Co-Op.

Four new grains will be available starting this month, Hygain Balanced, Senior, Showtorque, and Zero. This line of feeds comes highly recommended and is diverse enough to accommodate horses with various needs.

Balanced

Pelleted low-dose concentrate containing Vitamin E, Selenium, Biotin, Chelated Minerals, quality protein and amino acids. Ideal for easy keepers, horses on pasture-only diets, as a topper for home or pre-mixed feeds. The first two ingredients are Soybean Meal and Canola Meal.

Senior

Non-oat sweet feed with digestible energy and soluble fiber quality protein and balanced vitamins and minerals. Contains glucosamine for joint health, pre- and probiotics for gut health, Vitamin C for immune function, and chromium for glucose absorption and muscle health. The first two ingredients are Heat Processed Barley and Sweet Lupin Flakes.

Showtorque

Competition and training formula with rice bran oil for lean muscle mass development and biotin for hoof growth and coat shine. Cereal grain-free with added amino acids, vitamin E, and antioxidants to assist muscle repair. The first two ingredients are Sweet Lupin Flakes and Faba Bean Flakes.

Zero

Low-starch, Low-sugar, soy-free, complete feed for horses prone to Laminitis, Cushing’s, EMS, tying-up, or insulin-resistance. It is high in soluble fiber and has the lowest starch content of any complete feed on the market. The first two ingredients are Canola Meal and Sweet Lupin Hulls.

Demo Day

Whitney, our brand representative, will be doing an introductory demo at the Co-Op on Tuesday, August 16th. She will provide information on the feeds we carry and can make recommendations based on your horse’s specific needs. Stop by that day from 10 am to 2 pm for an introduction to this great company.
