Essex Co-Op’s Regular Route Trucks
The Co-Op offers delivery of grain, hay and shavings to your home or barn within our delivery area on our regular route trucks. See the chart below to find the day our route trucks deliver to your area. Need a supplement for your horse? Out of cat food for the barn cat? Muck rake broken? Add them to your delivery order!
The drivers load up their trucks and are on the road early, you must be sure to place your delivery order by 4:00 pm the day before your delivery day.
If you need an order of shavings or hay to be delivered to your loft, we can accommodate you. Loft deliveries are made on Fridays and Saturdays. These spaces fill up very quickly. The earliest available delivery time could be a week or two out. Please contact us early to place your order and secure a delivery spot.
No discounts are allowed on delivered items.
The Co-Op requires a $50 minimum to qualify for a FREE route truck delivery. Orders not reaching the minimum will be charged a $10 fee. The Co-Op does add a $3.99 Fuel Surcharge to all delivery orders. If your delivery order is below the $50 minimum and you are charged the $10 fee you will not be charged the additional $3.99 Fuel Charge, only one additional charge will apply.
Essex Co-Op will also deliver your Chicken Coop, Bunny Hutch, Picnic Table, Wood Pellets or Bulk Landscape Materials for a fee to addresses within our delivery area. Please call or inquire in store to find out the fee that applies to your address. These large items will be delivered on either Friday or Saturday.

If you are looking to have pet food or supplies delivered and use Instacart, search for our Instacart Store to place your order.
Roadie - 3rd Party Delivery
You can have your website order delivered through our 3rd party delivery service, Roadie, which is owned by UPS.
There are size and distance limitations with this service. Order size is restricted to what can fit in the back seat of a sedan. Two 50 lb bags of livestock feed would be the largest order Roadie will accept. Distance is limited to a 20 mile radius from Topsfield, MA.
If your order does not meet these parameters it will be rejected by Roadie.
