Order Cancellation
Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of expected pick-up or delivery by calling the store at 978-887-2300.
Returns
Purchases of products other than hay and shavings(policy below) must be returned within 30 days from purchase with a receipt. The items must be in like-new condition and include original packaging.
Hay & Shavings Returns
Any concerns related to hay and shaving purchases must be reported to Essex County Co-op within 10 days of purchase. All returned hay and shavings are subject to a 33% restocking fee on products the Co-Op goes out to retrieve. Hay that displays signs of mold, excessive dust, or spoilage must be reported immediately upon delivery or pickup in order to be reviewed.
These products are not eligible for return or exchange due to animal refusal or personal preference. All requests for hay or shavings exchanges or returns are evaluated and approved at the discretion of Essex County Co-Op management. Natural differences in cutting, color, texture, and composition are expected between loads and may vary from previous purchases. Hay and shavings are agricultural products and are not custom-made. While Essex County Co-Op strives to accommodate customer needs, product quality and availability depend on supply at the time of purchase.
Payment
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express credit cards or debit cards online. Existing store house accounts may also be charged. Customers wishing to use cash or check may visit the store.
