These 2.5 to 3 inch beautiful, deep crimson beets are tender and delicious and do not get woody as smaller varieties tend to if allowed to grow large. They are perfect for pickling, roastinf and even raw in salads. The greens rival chard and spinach for tenderness and flavor and they are very nutritious.
