This is a kiln-dried, double lacquered curved back hardwood bush block with stiff, oiled Palmyra fiber. It is durable and lightweight and has a curved backwith 2 in Palmyra trim that provides an alternative to the shorter trimmed western strap back. Great for mud removal and heavy general-purpose grooming.
