This will help to maintain moisture in bread, buns and other baked goods to keep them soft and fresh. Made in USA from terracotta clay, it is food safe and reusable. Simply soak this in water for 15 minutes, pat dry and place in with bread, cakes, cookies, marshmallows, or dried fruit. It can also be used dry to absorb moisture from spices, salt, crackers, pretzles, chips and other crispy foods to keep them crunchy longer. Do not use soap to clean as it could leave a trace taste or scent, rinse with clean water only.
