This Italian classic is a superb variety, producing numerous, small to medium-sized heads well into summer for more delicious broccoli more often. It is recommended to harvest the main head when it is 3 inches in diameter to encourage side shoots. A great freezer variety, the leaves are also edible when cooked like chard. Seeds are excellent for sprouting.
