Splitting Maul with Blade Guard 6 lb - 36 in

This 6 lb 36 in splitting maul comes with a small blade guard. The striking face is intended for driving steel wedges that are used in conjunction with splitting logs. The head is forged steel with a clear lacquer finish to help deter rust and the handle is hydraulically inserted into the head and secured with a serrated aluminum wedge to provide a very secure mechhanical bond.
