Hart's Scarlet Runner Bean

This annual pole bean can reach heights of six-to-eight feet and is quite beautiful when flowering. These are best grown on a fence or trellis. The fruits of this plant are long, edible pods that are filled with lima bean-esque beans. For best results, wait until soil is warm before planting.
