Sow seeds outside 2-4 weeks before the last frost when the soil is at least 40°F. Continue sowing every 3 weeks until 4-6 weeks before the first fall frost. In mild climates, sow in fall for winter harvest. Starting indoors is not recommended. Seeds emerge in 10-15 days when planted ¼" deep. Space groups of 3 seeds every 6" in rows 6" apart. Thin to 1 plant every 6" when ½" tall. Harvest baby greens at 2-4" long for best flavor, before the plant flowers unless eating the flowers.
