Equiderma Daily Defense Dry Shampoo is a 100% active ingredient formula with a base of baking soda and corn starch that work to pull moisture away from the skin and dry sweat out of the coat. The mix of silk proteins from silkworm cocoons, chamomile flowers, neem leaves, pine bark, cherry bark, bentonite clay, witch hazel, and arrowroot help soothe the skin and inhibit bacterial and fungal growth. This talc-free powder can also be used to calm hives, soothe sweet itch and insect bite hypersensitivity, and dry up dermatophyte-based rain rot.
The powder is designed to improve the condition of the skin and coat and the lavender essential oil adds a fresh smell without irritants from synthetic fragrances.
Directions for use:
- Sprinkle Daily Defense onto desired areas.
- For difficult to reach areas such as the midline of the belly or legs, shake the powder onto your hand and apply directly to the desired areas.
- Massage the powder into the coat with a curry brush or your hands - making sure to get all the way down to the skin.
- Use a flicker brush to remove any excess powder.
- If using as a remedy, leave on continuously, apply more as needed to maintain coverage.
- To freshen boots, saddle pads, helmets, or any other equipment, apply generously and leave out in the sun or fresh air to dry.
- Safe for human use as well!
