Dark & Durable Grass Seed combines three varieties of Turf Type Tall Fescue with Perennial Rye for quick germination and Kentucky Blue Grass to help fill in any thin or damaged areas. Suitable for Sunny, or Shady areas*. Turf Type Tall Fescue’s root systems can reach down almost two feet. This root depth contributes to superior heat, drought, shade, salt and wear tolerance. These varieties also offer a dark green color and a narrower blade similar to Kentucky Blue Grass. Germinates in 7 to 14 days.

New lawn: 750 sq ft per pound

Overseed: 1500 sq ft per pound

*Shady areas should get at least 4 hours of sunlight.
