Hemp Bedding - 22 lb

This bedding provides a biodegradable alternative to many other popular beddings, while also being very absorbant. Hemp bedding is between two and three times more absorbant than pine shavings, and can absorb up to four times its weight. This bedding has lower dust than most alternatives and it reduces odor, by quickly absorbing and trapping fluids. This bedding is a softer alternative than something like straw, meaning chickens are more likely to nest.
