This classic red cast iron hand pump can be used as a garden ornament or as an actual working pump that will draw up to 7 GPM and will draw up to 30 feet of depth. It has an adjustable cap for a wide range of handle positions and is recommended for shallow well applications. If pump handle is left in the up position and the foot valve is drained, pump will self-drain. For monitoring wells, test wells, bilge pump, transfer pump or any general purpose pumping applications up to 25 feet
